  1. Go to LinkedIn's Download my data page. You can also reach it through Settings & Privacy, then Data privacy, then Get a copy of your data.
  2. Choose the first option, Download larger data archive. LinkedIn no longer lets you pick Connections on its own, so this is now the way to get it.
  3. Click Request archive and enter your password if asked. LinkedIn emails you when it is ready. It often arrives within an hour, though LinkedIn says it can take up to 24.
  4. Download the ZIP from that email and open it. Inside, find the file named Connections.csv.
  5. Drop that Connections.csv into the box above.
This tool only uses Connections.csv from the archive. The rest of your data is yours to keep for other purposes.

Intero Insight Solo is a free tool from Intero Advisory. By uploading a file you agree to the following.

  1. It's directional. Titles are classified by keyword and companies are matched by name. Shares and matches are directionally accurate, not exact, and are provided without warranty. Use your own judgment before acting on any of it.
  2. It's for your own use. You may use the report for your own or your organization's business development. You may not resell it, offer it as a service, or present its output as your own product.
  3. The tool is ours. The page, its code, the classification taxonomy, the matching logic, and the report design are proprietary to Intero Advisory and protected by copyright. You may not copy, modify, reverse-engineer, scrape, or create derivative works from any of it.

How your data is handled

Your connections file is read by code running inside this browser tab, on your own computer. It is never uploaded, sent, or stored anywhere. There is no server-side step in this tool. The page is a single static file.

The same holds for any target list you match against your network: it is read by this tab and never leaves your computer.

When you close the tab, the data is gone. Nothing about you or your network is saved.

You can verify this yourself. Turn off your wifi after the page loads, then upload your file. The report still runs, because nothing it does needs the network.

What you'll see

A report built only from your own export. Every list is searchable, and the searchable parts stay in your browser.

Your target list, matched. Drop in any list of companies or people and see who you already reach, who you know there, and where there's no path yet.
The companies you reach. Where you're multi-threaded, and how many companies rest on a single connection.
Functions and seniority. What the people in your network do and how senior they are, as shares of the whole.
Growth and lost track. How your network grew year by year, and the leaders you connected with once and may have forgotten.
Doing this for a team?
Match runs the same analysis across everyone's connections and merges them into one view, with the strongest path to each target named.
